1. Competition Time and Venue

Healthy, sex and age are unlimited
7. Competition Events
Dragon Dance, Lion Dance (south and north lion post pattern), optional series
8. Participating Methods
Dragon Dance: 16 people for each team consisting of one team leader, one coach and fourteen athletes
South Lion Team: 10 people for each team consisting of one team leader, one coach and eight athletes
North Lion Team: 12 people for each team consisting of one team leader, one coach and ten athletes
9.Competition Methods
“International Dragon and Lion Dance Competition Rules, Code for Judges” issued by the International Dragon and Lion Dance Federation in 2002 will be applied in the competition.
9.1.The single round robin method will be adopted.
9.2. Drawing lots will decide the competing order of the first round competition.
9.3. For the second round of competition, the competing order will be from the lower scored team to the higher scored team.
9.4. The final ranking will be decided by the total points of the results of the first and second rounds.
9.5. The south lion dance will use public-used posts (the organizing committee will provide two sets of posts, i.e. A and B sets for all teams to perform optionally). All teams requested by the organizing committee perform creatively, train and compete according to the post pattern provided and will not be allowed to bring their own posts; The post diagram is attached in the back and on the basis of the diagram every team may arrange their series of performances.
9.6. The competition of dragon and north lion dance is encouraged to be accompanied by music.
10. Ranking and awards
10.1. Gold, silver and bronze trophies are all set respectively for dragon dance, south lion dance and north lion dance competitions.
10.2.Certificates of Participation and prize will be awarded to all participating teams.
11.Entry, registration and departure
11.1. Entry:
All the participating teams within the mainland China are requested to send the namelist and sex of the team leader, coach and athletes and a frief introduction on the team to the Chinese Dragon and Lion Dance Association by express mail or email by October 30, 2006. And all the participating outside of the mainland China are requested to send the namelist (Chinese and English), sex, passport no. of the team leader, coach and athletes as well as a brief introduction on the team and its performances to the Chinese Dragon and Lion Dance Association by express mail or email by October 30, 2006.

11.3.Departure
Departure on November 30, 2006

12.      Expenses
12.1.International and domestic traveling expenses will be borne by participating teams themselves.
12.2. The Organizing Committee will provide the public used posts (the post pattern is attached in the back).
12.3. The Organizing Committee will provide participating team (limited to the designated number of people for each team) with free meals, accommodation and local transportation in Jiujiang City.
12.4. The Organizing Committee will be responsible for the transportation between Nanchang Airport and the official hotel for the outside-of-mainland-China teams and transportation between Jiujiang Railway Station and the official hotel for domestic teams.
13.The Chinese Dragon and Lion Dance Association will select international class and national class referees (including international and domestic referees).
14.Insurance for athletes
The participating athlete is sure to underwrite personal accident insurance in their own country or region by themselves.
15. The right to interpret other businesses except the above-said matters belongs to the Organizing Committee
